| Since the percentages can stay the same even though the predicted numbers change over the years, it's better to use the predicted and actual numbers for comparison (the ones that show predicted and actual liters). The pre-drug and post-drug numbers are useful only to see how much of a reversible (i.e. asthma) component you have to your copd. Most of us just use the FEV1 number to talk about the degree of our disease. Other numbers are important, too, but that is the main "identifying" one. |
