Dear Family

we have another very special Angel watching over us today... long time lister and volunteer Ron O'Kane is breathing easy...

Howard writes

T'is with sad heart I must let you all know that Ron passed away early this morning (3:35 AM MT). His passing was quick and peaceful. We'll let you more on the arrangements as I receive them.

He was a great guy and a true friend over the years. He'll be greatly missed but never forgotten.

Take care, Howard

we have changed his Tender Loving care to a condolence page for his family....

what a difference Ron made to so very many, not just in leading the Smoke No More group, but as a friend...

what a Blessing to know him, even if 'just' in cyber space... may we each follow his legacy of making a difference where we can...

Dave, you touched an unexpected nerve with "long time listner and volunteer Ron O'Kane is breathing easy", I have a hard time remembering what it was like to breath easy. I found that an especially touching thing to say.
