I have been smoking for 43 years and have stopped and started for so long now. I can't seem to go longer than 30 days before I relapse. I am getting close to the end of this disease. And don't want to stay on oxygen like they say. Im afraid that I won't ever come off. I just got diagnosised with colon cancer and have to have cancer on the 13th of next month. I started taking chantix and have one more smoke day. I could use any support or advice. I know I must be crazy because why would I do something that I know is killing me.

Just quit! I smoked for 50 years and quit, but not before ruining my lungs! . Breathing is more important than smoking. You CAN do it! Hang in there.

Smoking is harder for some people. Some people just cannot stay away from cigarettes for good. What you have is smoking addiction.
