Has anyone used sodium chloride to help loosen up mucous or to help with any inflammation to help breathe easier? I know it is not a bronchodilator but just wondering if it would help with making breathing any easier?

Thank you in advance.

Dave I have the 0.9% to mix in with the albuterol or the Xopenex nebulizer. I have never used it alone. Just wondering if it can be used alone? Thanks Dave for your reply.
