NOT really real, it gets talked about off an on, I have been on prednisone 10 mg 1 x per day for 1 year. Iam 4th stage. my hospice Dr. says it is better for me than NOT.
So now I would like to ask those that have had it long term, any reactions. side-effects, happy...not?

Cataracts is a side effect, but in hospice should not be a worry. 10MG is a low dose.

I have been on 10 about a year and a half now. A couple things I have noticed is weight gain, I would eat a cow if she would stand stil :-) .and the other is thinning of my skin. It is thinner than it was and a lot more easily punctured and I bruise easier also. But breathing is a nice trade off!
