At a chosen liters/minute does the O2 delivered go down as the pressure in the bottle goes down? It seems like as the needle approaches the red, my PO2 declines.

I only use bottled O2 at the VA, and I have never seen that happen. We have a lot of people on bottles with much lower DLCO and no one has ever complained until the bottle is in the red.

Your regulator has a pressure reducer in it so the oxygen sent to you is at a low pressure. As the pressure in the bottle goes down to about the low pressure you get from the regulator the gauge should just start in to the red mark. In your case I think it may be an inaccurate pressure gauge.

I used an Invacare Homefill System and never had a problem with the 02 amount decreasing as the bottle emptied, however I did have a couple of conservers malfunction over the years.
