Hello All I am a new member here that is still smoking and I need help and support to quit.. but unless I am doing something wrong all the links I see for smoke no more are broken and the domain name is up for sale? I have yet to have my first appt with the Pulmonologist it is Sept 17 I am scared I knew smoking was going to get me but it was so weird how one day I could breathe and the next I could not.. I KNOW I have to quit smoking did it in 02 for over a year and went back like a moron.. Plan to quit when the couple of packs I have left are gone..

Those two packs will do a lot of damage to your lungs. It is really a mindset
thing to quit. I chose to live and breath air, instead of smoke and die.
I know that is harsh, but I feel it is a reality.
If you quit now, exercise, eat well and follow your Pulmonologists advice you will
start to feel better. If not, you WILL GET WORSE.

Do not need the lecture.I know the drill I was more asking where is the support group since all the links are broken. I have smoked for 40 years so I am sure those last 2 packs are no big deal while I get my quitting stuff ready.. my xanax for anxiety and a new script for the inhaler. I already exercise. go to the pool three time a week for an hour 40 min aerobics and 20 weight work. I do not always eat right but I am a good weight for my height and age.As far as pulminologist advise I have not seen him yet as I said in my post.. If anyone would like to post about my question on how I get to where the smokeno more stuff is I would appreciate it. The links on here only lead to a dead domain.

Hi Sue, You are doing nothing wrong, but if you had saved our home page within the last 2 years there was a problem with our domain name and we had to do some adjusting we are now what we originally was. You need to go to

This link is good.

On left hand side click on Smoke No More, then on the right you will find information on our group. You can do some reading and scroll to the bottom and fill out the application.

Once you send the application it will ask for an address verification, that is needed to join. You should hear back from someone within 24-32 hours depending on when you send it.

Good luck with your quit, it isn't easy but it is doable.
