I have COPD and neither my doctor nor my lung specialist can figure out why my upper chest hurts. I had a CTPA lung scan, did a breathing test, and yesterday I did a stress test and it showed my heart is ok.

Could this chest pain be part of my COPD? Is there anything I can do for it or do I just need to get used to it?

Hi Darlene,
Maybe you could repost this to the main forum where others can respond. I just found this post today (two days after you posted it).
Where exactly is the pain? How long have you had it? Is it constant?
What is the FEV1 of your disease? Do you have a cough? Were you just diagnosed and what meds are you on? I couldn't dare to guess or offer any advice or help without knowing more.

Thank you for replying.

I just posted all this information on the main forum like you suggested with all my information.

I don't know what the FEV1 of my disease is. What is FEV1?
