I was talking to the folks at Boehridger/Ingelheim and they said that they do not recommend using a spacer with Combivent because they have not done any studies on using them and do not really know how effective spacers are. Anyone out there have any input on this

I don't know why spacers would be any less effective with combivent than with any other MDI. I think it would be better for a person to use a spacer than to use an MDI improperly.
