Just a word of advice--as long as you are trying you will never quit. You have to quit, stop, do it no more for it to do any good. Trying just prolongs the misery and does not help your breathing in any way.

Hi Debbie:

I just quit on June 4, 2012. It is getting easier and for the most part I feel better. I just want to encourage you to go for it. I know it is hard. I have smoked for 50 years. I chew on plastic straws now.
