Every morning I wake up my hair and my nightgown is soaking wet from sweat. If I wake up around 2ni have to put a new nightgown on and put a big beachowel over the sheets that I lay on just to cover it till morning when I will change everything. It has happened at least 4 days in a row so far. Does anyone sweat like this.?
1) Take your temperature; call your Doctor if you think yours is too high. 98.6 is normal. 2) Check your house thermometer. If over approx. 78 degrees, turn it down. 3) Put on non-polyester night clothing........stick to lightweight cotton. 4) Use only 100% cotton sheets.......with lightweight blanket.
I agree about speaking with your doctor also. Are you menopause age? I had night sweats and hot flashes for many years. Still get them once in a while and it's been many years since menopause for me. Any new medications?
I wear as little as possible for bed. No polyester. The sheets are probably the problem.. i put a cotton towel under me and a towel on my pillowcase. I felt more comfortable . I always put the fan on. I will see how I do tonight.
I cannot believe it. I put a beach towel underneath me and a regular towel on my pillow and I saw my husband getting out of bed at 4:30 and I said to him that was the best nights sleep I have had ever. I always get up at least once during the night around 2, mostly 12 and 2 and 5:30. I told him I slept from 10 till then at 4:30 when I felt him getting out. And I didn't sweat at all. The towels were dry. I kept telling him it was certain sheets make me sweat. They are nice and soft but not breathable. Well, I will let you know if this lasts or it was a lucky night. Ta.ta.
