My friend came down from Delaware and went to the hospital he was coughing so bad. They kept him 3 days and sent him home but he has gone already 11 days to an infusion place to treat the rest. Now today she told the she hears a little in. His lungs do it one more week and then get a cat scan . I am sitting here now choking on my phlegm trying to bring it up but I donít want to go thru that. Have you ever heard of that for pneumonia?

I have had IV in hospital for 12 days followed by 14 days at home. It depends on if you can do it on your own. The new system is little balls that you connect to a PICC line. Much easier than pumps of old. I have done it many times, but never had to go to an infusion center. I always had to start in the hospital.

I have had infusions several times. Our lcl home health sets it up for us to do at home and provides the training. It does require you to get a pic??? line
