Greetings and good morning, Kust have to vent. Wife is so nervous and I am trying to help her through the trying times we all are going thru. Add this to her ripping her mask off in the middle of the night. What about me? Her o2 falls and thank goodness that my alarm on my phone goes off every two hours to get her going again.. just so alone and tired. Anyone out there like me? |

I wish I had some words of wisdom for you, but I don't. Your wife is so lucky to have you. I wish she knew how lucky she is, but it seems she doesn't. You have my sympathy and I thank you for your wife because she can't. |

Although my situation is not exactly the same, I can relate. it just gets wearisome at times. Vent away!
The current covid19 situation just adds to the load. In addition to doing all the grocery shopping, once I get home,, now I have to wipe every package and item down with disinfectant and my husband won't come into the room until I'm done .. If he were to get the virus it'd be all my fault ... Just like everything else that goes wrong around us.
Guess I need to vent a little,too :-) |

Hello Scooter and Calycu I am a Lung Recipient so I see you thru different eyes and I admire and respect you both greatly. I know I was not real fun to take care of part of the time. Your time talent and love are so valuable. Thank you for all that you are doing! Please take what ever time you can for yourself ( I know it is hard right with COVID 19) but please take that few minutes to meditate, relax and heal your mind as best you can. Once this COVID 19 is over please reach out for help from family friends and state health agencies. And yes you deserve and are welcome to vent. Thank you again for what you are doing.

Scooter, how are you doing? Hard to believe we have been dealing with covid for 9 months? My hubby and I are doing ok. He has been able to do a couple of doctor appointments online and has only been out of the house while driving me to get groceries or prescriptions. Watching the lead up to the election and the subsequent shenanigans has kept us somewhat entertained ;-). Have you been able to find some time for yourself? I am an avid quilter and have made several quilts since March. It has been a good thing to fall back on when going out is not possible. (lots of fabric shopping online!)
Hope you and your wife are getting through this without too much struggle. Seems there is a light at the end of the tunnel with vaccines coming ... |
